These terms are an agreement between you and KitaNatin, operated by Jose Alberto Rivera, Atimonan, Quezon, Philippines ("KitaNatin", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the KitaNatin app, you agree to them. If you use KitaNatin for a business, you agree for that business too. Please also read our Privacy Policy.
1. What KitaNatin is
KitaNatin is an app for running a small business: selling and receipts, products and stock, cash drawer, expenses, customer credit, reports, team accounts and more. It works on your phone or tablet first, even without internet, and syncs to the cloud when you are online. Features may be added, changed or removed over time.
2. Your account
- Give true details when you sign up, and keep them up to date.
- Keep your password, PIN and backup code private. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- The business owner decides who joins the team and what each role may do, and is responsible for the team's use of KitaNatin.
- You must be at least 18, or have the legal right to make this agreement.
3. Your data is yours
Your shop's records belong to you. You give KitaNatin permission to keep, copy, sync and process them only to run the app for you and as our Privacy Policy describes. You can download your records from Reports at any time.
If you record personal information about your customers or others, you must have the right to do so under the privacy law that applies to you, and tell them as that law requires.
4. Prices
KitaNatin's main features are free. Some extra features (add-ons) are, or may become, paid. Many are free for now. Before we start charging for something you use, we will tell you the price at least 30 days ahead, and you will not be charged unless you agree to pay. Prices may differ by country.
5. Payments from your customers
KitaNatin does not take, hold or move money. When your customer pays by GCash, Maya, QR, bank transfer or card, the money goes from the customer to your own account with that provider, under that provider's terms. KitaNatin only records the sale. Shops abroad that switch on the Square link use their own Square account; KitaNatin sends Square the amount and records the result.
6. Taxes and official receipts
You are responsible for your own taxes, permits and records, including registering with the tax authority and issuing any official receipts or invoices your country requires. Tax estimates, BIR forms, Z-readings and reports in KitaNatin are there to help you, but they are not tax or legal advice; check them with your accountant. Until KitaNatin is accredited by the BIR for your use, receipts printed by KitaNatin are for your own records and are not official receipts or invoices.
7. Services you connect
You may connect outside services such as Google Sign-In, Google Calendar, Intuit QuickBooks or Square. Those services are run by other companies under their own terms. KitaNatin is not responsible for them, and they may change or stop working with KitaNatin.
8. Fair use
Do not use KitaNatin to break the law, cheat customers or the tax authority, or harm others. Do not try to get into accounts or data that are not yours, overload or attack the service, copy or resell the app, or get around its limits and security.
9. Keeping your records safe
Records made while a phone is offline are kept on that phone until it syncs. If a phone is lost, broken or wiped before it syncs, those records can be lost. Sync often, keep your phones locked, and download reports you need to keep. We work to keep KitaNatin running, but it may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance, outages or reasons outside our control.
10. Ending
You can stop using KitaNatin at any time and ask us to close your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, or that puts others at risk; where we can, we will tell you first and give you time to download your records.
11. No promises beyond these terms
KitaNatin is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we do not promise that it will be error-free or always available, or that its figures, estimates or reports will be right for your situation.
12. Limit of our responsibility
As far as the law allows, KitaNatin is not responsible for indirect losses (such as lost profits, lost sales or lost data you did not sync), and our total responsibility for any claim is limited to what you paid KitaNatin in the 12 months before the claim, or ₱5,000 (or the same value in your own currency) if you paid nothing.
13. Your rights as a consumer
Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer laws of your country that cannot be given up, such as under the Australian Consumer Law, the UK Consumer Rights Act or the Philippine Consumer Act.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will update the date at the top, and for important changes we will tell you in the app at least 30 days before they apply. Using KitaNatin after that means you accept the new terms.
15. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines. Please contact us first so we can try to fix any problem together. If we cannot, disputes go to the proper courts of Quezon Province, Philippines, unless the law of your country gives you the right to use your own courts.
